Check out the adorable article by Heidi Mitchell and sophisticated Photoshoot by Partick Demarchelier ….

Blake Lively is having what she calls a princess day. It began with putting on fire engine red lipstick and a pretty Panama hat and crescendoed into a tour of the Prussian palaces of Potsdam and shopping for vintage dresses. She’s in Germany to visit her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, who’s wrapping a movie in nearby Berlin, and the past four days have been all ripped jeans and dad’s old baseball cap—tomboy days, she calls them—but this Thursday, with castles to explore and kitschy East German boutiques to plunder, Lively is feeling decidedly flirtier.“I never think about how other people will respond to the way I dress,” she says. “Dressing up is all about reflecting how I feel,” she adds—not to satisfy paparazzi. If she’s lazy, she’ll throw on a slouchy sweater and L.L. Bean moccasins. And on an aforementioned princess day? “That could call for wearing something totally inappropriate, like a beaded purse and a gorgeous pair of crystal heels just to go to the grocery store.”

With six seasons of Gossip Girl sealing her It Girl status and roles in The Town and Savages proving her acting chops, the Burbank, California, native is feeling more crystal heels than moccasins lately. She’s still riding the high of her secret wedding to Reynolds last September and her recent appointment as the face and muse for Gucci Première perfume. She is lucky enough to call her favorite musician, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, a close friend, and when she can’t decide which shoes to wear, she simply texts Christian Louboutin for advice. (“I’m still geeked out,” she says. “I’m like, ‘Christian, when you texted me, I took a screen grab!’ It’s crazy!”) And despite the fact that she famously has no stylist right now, she remains one of the most-hunted targets on the red carpet. Her life, in some ways, is like a Disney movie.

Lucky Magazine Shoot – On Set

Lucky Magazine Shoot – On Set

Blake Lively has been snapped tottering around New York in four staggering outfits for a fashion shoot with Lucky magazine. Along with the hardships of walking in various pairs of heels and different sorts of headwear, Blake had to pose AND look sultry at the same time.

Looking a bit like some kind of very stylish witch, Blake’s first outfit was a slinky black dress with lacing up the neckline, paired with some open-toed knee boots (not sure how we feel) and a big black sunhat. Oh, and a wistful gaze at the pavement, of course.

Next up was a twee looking pencil skirt and jumper combo, teamed with gold jewellery and silver shoes. Her handbag had a gold finish to up the bling-ante a bit, and her hair was left loose and blowing-about-a-bit, which we’re pretty sure is the correct fashion term for this kind of thing.

Our favourite outfit was probably the leggings and jumper look (you know we’re girls of comfort *reaches for another biscuit*). With flats or a pair of bright white Converse this could be an ace casual look, but fluffed up – literally with that handbag – with heels and a hat makes this oh soglam on Miss Lively. Love it.

The final outfit was ATTACK OF THE WHITE – but also a hint of black, which must mean the monochrome trend isn’t going anywhere in a hurry. Silver accessories and a slick of black eyeliner made this more polished than tacky, and they STILL left her princess-hair all long and flowy. Good choice.

Blake at Scream 2010 and on Allure

Blake arrived for Spike TV’s “Scream 2010” at The Greek Theatre in a bizarre beige body suit and long silk skirt with caramel leather harness and crystal pearl insect neck brooch from Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

Blake can be found on Allure magazine this month, for her cover shoot with Norman Jean Roy at Alder Manor, a historic, otherworldly estate in Yonkers, New York, Blake Lively introduced herself to every single person on the set, played with a caretaker’s dog, and requested ice cream for everyone. See outtakes from the shoot here, and for more photos and the profile “The Anti-Starlet,” pick up the October issue of Allure, on newsstands September 21 – if anyone can donate some lovely HQ scans please email me at [email protected] meanwhile please make do with the outtakes in the gallery below!

Blake in Interview!

Serena van der Woodsen: beautiful, glamorous, elegant young woman about town; fashionable and firm but fair ruler of Manhattan’s young social elite; wooer of hearts and slayer of men with names like Trip van der Bilt; tabloid magnet and off-and-on dater of her off-and-on step-brother-and nothing even remotely like Blake Lively. For three seasons, Lively-owner of the most talked-about hair in television since the heady days of the early-Friends Jennifer Aniston shag-has played van der Woodsen on the CW’s hit series Gossip Girl, guiding her through myriad breakups, scandals, falls from grace, and spirited comebacks amidst the show’s hyperreal vision of misspent youth in uptown New York. Now as the series enters its fourth season, the plot for Serena has begun to further thicken. Will she return from her summer vacation in Paris as a new woman, or out to settle old scores? Will she get back together with Dan? Will Nate come calling once again? What will she wear? But just as the arc of Serena’s sordid life on Gossip Girl has brought about new priorities, changes, and directions, so too has the trajectory of Lively’s career away from the show signaled a shift in direction for the 23-year-old actress.

Esquire – February 2010 Article & Outtakes

The most significant consequence of Gossip Girl may be the rise of its lead blond, who’s about to become a serious movie star.

The guest on the late-night talk show crosses her long, bare legs. No one is looking at her. Her segment is done, and she has moved to the second couch, the one that’s hardly ever used. She’s alone. The host, he’s over with the guest who came on after her, the scrawny, aging heavy-metal drummer, and they’re rocking out with the house band, and all the cameras — there are so many cameras at these shows, way more than you’d think — have rolled over to the other side of the stage, and the audience, college kids and tourist couples hopped up on blinking APPLAUSE signs and instructions to be enthusiastic, is watching the host and the aging drummer as they goof around with a guitar. The up-and-coming actress, who has apparently decided to hang out after her interview and watch the rest of the show, sits on that other couch, clapping her hands — stiff palms and splinted fingers, like seal flippers — even though not one person, except for her publicist and her publicist’s subpublicists watching in the wings, is paying her any mind.

Rolling Stone – April 2009

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester take the April cover of Rolling Stone magazine! It’s a really smokin’ and fun photoshoot. The rest of the Gossip Girl cast is also inside the magazine. View some outtakes below and there is also a behind the scenes video here. Captures of that will come soon.

“They didn’t tell us anything about the concept,” Blake Lively says. “We didn’t know we’d have any props, but we saw this big fun table — like a kid’s birthday party. Um, some of it was a little mature for a kid’s birthday party. Some of the … inflatable items. But it’s all been a surprise; it’s been really fun.”

W Magazine – December 2008

Blake Lively is features in the december issue of W Magazine, she’s on the cover 🙂 . I have the cover for you and some shoots pictures. I will try to add the scans as soon as possible, since I live in sweden it takes a month longer for the magazines to come here. You can read the article from the magazine futher down. Here are som previews of the photoshoots images.

Levelheaded Blake Lively is emerging as the buzziest (and busiest) of the Gossip Girl gang.

Blake Lively is a starving artist. “I’m hungry. You hungry? Let’s meet at Sant Ambroeus,” she says, by way of cell phone introduction. Within minutes she’s stepping out of a taxi, an endless stream of legs and golden hair. The pint-size ristorante in New York’s West Village is, on a Saturday afternoon, predictably packed with the type of diners who are too cool to freak out about the numero uno Gossip Girl but not so jaded that they don’t notice her. Over the course of the next hour and a half, only a mother and her trembling tween daughter openly fawn over Lively. Sure, a guy at the next table chats her up, but that’s only because he really, really needs to know if he should order the eggplant appetizer that the gorgeous 21-year-old is digging into with gusto.
